Turkey - Visiting the Suna family in Istanbul

We were very lucky to have been given the opportunity to visit a family in Istanbul through a contact of Nikki's in Canberra.  We met the Suna family and had dinner with them - it was a great night getting to know them, and sharing information about our respective cultures.  It was a loooong night (especially for Hannah), mainly due to travel, but definitely worthwhile and we are incredibly grateful to the Suna family for inviting us in to their home, and to the large group of people who helped to organise the night and make it happen.

The food was AMAZING!!! It turns out the Suna family run 17 restaurants in Turkey - but this food was home made & was delicious

They gave us a parting gift, which was incredibly kind.  We gave them some Australian Tea from Adore Tea in Canberra :-)
